It's time for thoughtful decision-making
T he Keystone Avenue dilemma deserves better debate than it is receiving. Instead of in-depth presentations concerning how this project evolved from a $90 million road improvement project that would cost the Carmel taxpayers nothing to its current $142 million (plus) estimate, we on the council are dealing with a stealth campaign. Instead of being briefed on current designs, their impact on traffic flow and movement and the long-term cost benefits of this grand boulevard, we receive error-filled e-mails and hear whispers of accusation.
